Beijing to the U.S. in Third Grade
A story about leaving home, learning a new language and culture, and rebuilding confidence.
This site is a living record of my life story. I was born in Beijing, China, moved to the United States in third grade, and grew up shaped by music, sports, and the experience of building a life across cultures.
I played violin, competed in tennis, started college at Northeastern, spent my first semester traveling around Europe beginning in the Czech Republic, and later transferred to Babson.
Over time, I will expand this website with full stories, photos, and reflections.
I built this website to share personal stories and the moments that shaped who I am. It is not a resume. It is a narrative: where I came from, what I chased, what changed me, and what I learned along the way.
If you are here, you are reading the early draft. More chapters are coming.
This section is where full stories will live. Each story will be a page in the future, but for now, here are placeholders you can expand.
A story about leaving home, learning a new language and culture, and rebuilding confidence.
A story about practice, pressure, and how competing and performing shaped my mindset.
A story about traveling through Europe starting in the Czech Republic and how that changed my perspective.
A story about transferring schools, making hard decisions, and choosing a better fit.
